One Response to Gaddafi vs Africom and the recolonisation of Africa – Dan Glazebrook

Sadly Dan, your analysis is absolutely correct. The recolonisation of Africa is underway. With Gaddafi gone so has the vision of a United States of Africa, so has independance from IMF and WB through the African Credit Bank, Monetary Fund and Credit Bank. So have the plans for the Golddinar and independance from foodimports through the GMRP. Africa had the chance to become the worlds economic powerhouse. Unfortunately, its leaders have once again shown their people what they are – corrupt, selfish and cowardly puppets, only prepared to follow Gaddafi as long as he paid for it. I would never have thought the AU would have been so quick to recognise the NTC and betray Gaddafi in the way they did. As much as I am a supporter of African independance and prosperity – with the leaders they have right now and the likes of Amical Cabral, Thomas Sankara or Patrice Lumumba nowhere in sight – I guess they don’t deserve any better, at least for the time being.
